On Saturday, September 13, 2008, the Bell Arts Factory (home of Silva and Silva's studio) is holding "A Taste of the Arts," a fund-raising event aimed to benefit BAF's free youth arts & culture classes, and community events.
The event runs from 3:00 to 9:00 pm and will feature live music by Conjunto Zacamandu and The Convertibles, a dance demonstration by "Ballet Folklorico - Bell Arts", open art studios and food provided by a variety of Downtown Ventura restaurants, including Aloha Steakhouse, Savory Cafe & Bakery, Cajun Kitchen Cafe, Anacapa Brewery, Nature's Grill and Crowne Plaza.
Tickets are $10 each with all the proceeds going to benefit the Bell Arts Factory non-profit organization. Stop by, tour the studios, sample some great food and help support BAF's youth arts programs.
